Hi, this forum is for site status checks only I'm afraid. We don't offer a category selection service on Resource-Zone.

If the category you have submitted to is not appropriate for your site it will be moved to a more appropriate category when it is reviewed.

The category you refer to is for messageboards and chatrooms where the primary topic of discussion is web design and development. So if your site fits that bill then your submission was to the correct category.

As noted above, feel free to bump this thread once a month has passed from the date you submitted your site to dmoz, and ask for a status check. (Don't start a new thread.)

There is no way to speed up the review of your site. The ODP is a non-commercial project and the editors are volunteers who work in the areas they want to work in.

It is impossible to predict when your site will be reviewed. It could be in an hours time if an editor decides to focus their efforts in that area, it could be as much as several years if no editors are interested in editing in that area.
