Status of www.indiainfoquest.com

Hi!

I am new to this forum and request you to please specify the status of www.indiainfoquest.com

It has been posted to two categories:

http://dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/India/Business_and_Economy/Business_Services/

and

http://dmoz.org/Business/Marketing_and_Advertising/Market_Research_Suppliers/

The website was listed in the first but updation for Company name and description was needed and so I posted for a change of description and the title.

But, got no success with the second.

Please provide the status - if declined or still in queue.

Why does the logo (and most of the references on the site) just call it Infoquest if the company is actually called Infoquest India?

The website content was the same as you remared, initially, but now it also talks about Infoquest India and the client has used some short forms such as "Infoquest reports / Infoquest market reports" to make it more precise. You can find the name as "Infoquest India" in the "contact us" section.

However, I have asked the client to make more use of Infoquest India and not of short forms and change the company logo.

Also the company provides "industry-specific market research reports" for all businesses and not "market reports for industries". So, I requested for an update.

Please make the changes accordingly. I would be grateful.

Also , please specify the status in the second category (the top category) also.

Please wait a month before asking for a status update. We can't look at each site every week.
 

The site was posted in DMOZ in March, 2003. So, I have already waited 2 months before posting to resource-zone.

And as we have done changes suggested by motsa, we were expecting it to be done in next update i.e June 1 however, it is not the case.

That's why I asked for an update of status fearing rejection of our website. I feel you are too busy to reply for the status. Never Mind, I would wait.

The update of the date can be triggered by several things. It doesn't mean that all sites waiting to be reviewed have been reviewed.

Your update request in Regional is still waiting for an editor to have a look at it.

As far as the second category you mentioned is concerned, I couldn't get the list of unreviewed sites to load, so I can't tell you if your submission is in, but if you got no error message it should be there.

Unfortunately there's a huge backlog there, and you should be prepared to wait several months before your submission is reviewed.
