Status of www.innatchestersprings.com

I just became the webmaster of www.innatchestersprings.com and noticed it is not listed. Could you tell me if it has been submitted since we do not want to get into the duplicate submission situation.

I would expect to submit it to -- Regional: North America: United States: Pennsylvania: Localities: E: Exton: Travel and Tourism: Lodging

It's listed in Chester Springs. But IMO it maybe should be moved to Exton since that's what the site says.

Geographically the two are right next to each other and it is not necessary to move the site if it takes time.

I searched on dmoz under Inn at Chester Springs and www.innatchestersprings.com and received a no open directory project response so assumed that the site was not listed, and yet is as you correctly pointed out it is listed under "Chester Springs". Is there a better way to check if a site is already listed since I have a bunch more to check on and I would rather not bother you.

The absolutely best way is to go to the most appropriate category on http://dmoz.org/ and see if it's already listed.

Another way that's almost is good is to use DMOZ search for the domain name, stripping out the http:// , the server name, and any extraneous information, i.e., search simply for domain.com . Note, however, that the search database is not updated in real time, so there is a lag of a week or more from the time a newly listed site is listed to when it is findable with search.

That's not how we do things. If it is located in Exton it should (and will) be moved from Chester Springs. The time it takes to move a listing from one category to another is almost infinitesimal but, even if it weren't, it's not a consideration.
