Status of www.lakeshoremen.org

Hello there,

I have tried to submit www.lakeshoremen.org several times over the past year. It is the official site of a very active and growing non-profit organization. Could someone please tell me what is happening? Thank you! Here is the last place I submitted it:

I don't edit in that part of the directory, but I looked at your site to see if I could recommend a possible additional regional category, since your description of the site sounded like something that might fit well in regional.

I got to the opening screen and discovered that there is no way to bypass the flash content.

Now this is not the place to dissect the content of a website, but I did want to share with you the fact that, for security reasons, many (or at least some) editors routinely bypass the flash content of sites, and sites that have no way to bypass the flash content (or even worse, the button to bypass the flash is part of the flash) often sit in the submission pools until an editor willing to expose their machine to the hazards of flash will do the review.

Just my two cents.

Thanks for your fast reply! There is a link lower on the page that bypasses the flash, it says "if you can not see the movie click here" and takes you to the html main page at:

Cool. I did not interpret the "If you canot see this movie...." link as a way of bypassing the flash. My bad. Sorry.

You might also want to consider submitting to Regional/North_America/United_States/Michigan/Localities/T/Troy/Arts_and_Entertainment/

Regional submissions can be in additions to topical submissions, and are considered separately. The acceptance or denial of one does not impact the consideration of the other.

Hopefully another editor wil come along and give you a status on your topical submission.
