An idea for your consideration. You're offering to list B&B businesses (for a fee, I presume, but that's not the point here.) You're willing to make lots of site submittals to the ODP. How about:
Tell people that when they list with you, part of the service includes _submitting_ (not, notice, listing) their website (if any) in the ODP?
You know where the sites go -- in the Locality/Travel and Tourism/Lodging/etc. category, not the State/Travel and Tourism/etc/B&B category. (Lots of private B&B owners will get that wrong.) You know, or can figure out quickly enough, what kind of descriptions we do.
You can tell them that there is no guarantee of a quick review or a quick listing, but sites well-submitted to the proper regional category (which you can do pretty quickly once you get the hang of it) often get listed pretty quickly -- on the order of a few days, very often less than a month).
I don't know (or care) if you try to get a link back from the websites. (If you do, it would improve your page rank.)
What you might get out of this is an added incentive for customers. What we get out of it is a reliable source of good, well-submitted links.
