I would be very grateful if you could advise me of the current status of www.latecomers.com.

I first posted about 9 months ago to http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Travel_and_Tourism/Accommodation/Self-Catering/

and again about a month ago when the site had a general makeover.

The original posting may have also been submitted under Europe as latecomers lists holiday properties in Europe as well as in the United Kingdom. I would therefore also appreciate your guidance as to whether it should only be submitted to the UK as UK holiday properties predominate or submitted there in the first instance.

You need to be more specific - you can only post here for an update 1 month after the last submission. If you can't remember the date, wait a month from now.

Once submitted there is rarely any reason to resubmit it.

Thanks for your advice. I waited patiently for 9 months therefore a further wait until 12th February is not so long.

Still hoping to be reviewed shortly, particularly as I note that a number of sites shown on list http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Travel_and_Tourism/Accommodation/Self-Catering/ are no longer there, and others with so called late availability are showing links to cottages which have no entries. The latecomers sites rates well on most search engines but not on Google as hitherto I have not bothered with seeking links. Hence I am very keen to appear in the open directory. I am sorry to bother you again but having waited over 18 months I am desperate to be reviewed soon.

There is no way to predict how long a review will take. It is dependent on volunteer editors taking an interest in a particular category. A posting in this forum will also not produce a review nor speed the process up any.
