Several months ago I sent a request to add my site to DMOZ directory.I'm very sorry but do not remember the category and I believe it was
http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Clothing/Leather/ .
I know that an editor visited my site at least once. Also a SEO company that I hired may also have tried to do it as I found lately. Could you please tell me what is the status of my website http://www.leatherpleasure.com.

The category is the one you mentioned.

The length of the queue isn't relevant. If your site were all alone in it, the editors might all be working where the queues were ripe. If your site were in with 500 others, editors might be organizing a "catbust" in the neighborhood. What you want to know is when the site will be reviewed, and that can't be known.

I can give you a good guess, however, and one that will give you some indication as to how to proceed.

The editor will more likely than not be reviewing the site at the very same minute of the hour of the day that you lean back and say to yourself, "This site is good enough and well enough known that I don't need to promote it anymore. And my promotion efforts have been so successful that I don't need the ODP listing at all."

this year and I submitted it to http://dmoz.org/shopping/clothing/leather/ .
Well it's been almost 8 months and nothing Also I recently realized that considering nature of my site maybe directory that I should submit it to is a problem. Maybe I should have submitted my site to http://dmoz.org/Adult/Shopping/Sex_Toys_and_Supplies/BDSM/ .
Please advise on what I should do. Wait patiently OR resubmit my site to the new directory that I mentioned above. To resubmit my site I believe (rules) I need a permision from you guys. In any case I'm waiting for your respond.

I'm sorry I know you are right but please forgive me my luck of experience.I was wrong choosing directory that does not deal with stuff that my website is offering.Now I'm 100% sure that my site http://www.leatherpleasure.com
belongs to http://dmoz.org/Adult/Shopping/Sex_..._Supplies/BDSM/ category but the big question is: do I have to resubmit or you guys have done it already. If resubmission required please let me know ASAP.
