Hello! I wanted to follow up on the status of LeatherWorldTech to see if its getting closer to being reviewed? I'm selling my soul to the pay per click engines and sure could use a boost from ODP <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

Submission of 14 March 2003 is still waiting with several thou, oops, dozen others.

I am really sorry to say that your submission still hasn't been reviewed. Obviously there is a lack of volunteer editors in this area of the directory.

Thanks for the reply! We're delighted to be in the ODP. This category is just as good as the auto category to my client. I would assume that since the public page has not generated that its not accessible to search engines either. Could you share how often the page generation process occurs?

Also, I had mulled over becoming an editor for the ODP, but didn't think it was cricket to become one just to get my client's site listed. Now that we are in, i was thinking that the auto directory I originally applied to might be a good place to start. Would this be a good place for a newbie?

No - we don't know when the next update will be, and as you may be able to tell from the post before yours, not even our own staff know . There will probably be an announcement on this forum soon, but I really do not know when.

As for applying for an editor, have a look at the Becoming an Editor forum on this board - there's plenty of good advice there.
