Status of http://www.marketstreetresearch.com Site Submission

Dear Editor,

Yesterday (March 29, '04), while attempting to submit our site to the DMOZ for your review (http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Marketing_and_Advertising/Market_Research/), we experienced some DNS problems in our office and our application process was interupted.

As I know your policy dictates that we only submit once to you for review, and because I did not receive a receipt of our our submission, I just wanted to check in and see if you have indeed received it so I know whether to re-attempt my submission.

If you got an error, then submitting the same URL to the same category will either add the submission if it's new, or overwrite it if it's already there.

So I would recommend you go ahead and resubmit.

Still having problems

It seems like the submission engine is not functioning properly. Is there a technical contact I can write to? Thanks for your response!

So you have tried again and got the same result? I thought you said the problems were due to a DNS error in your office? I don't think that an ODP technical contact is going to be able to help you there.

Please tell us exactly what error you are seeing.

I submitted our site, www.marketstreetresearch.com to the category http://www.dmoz.com/Business/Marketing_and_Advertising/Market_Research/ about 2 months ago and still do not see it posted nor have I received any information about its review by an editor. Please let me know where we stand or if I need to do something else.

I merged all three threads you started on this subject together, please bookmark this thread for future use as only one thread per topic should exist--otherwise it is too hard to follow previous responses.

Your suggestion from 01/Apr/2004 is still pending in that category.

That's OK, some of these forums can be challenging for the occasional poster.
