Status of www.mountaindays.net

Hi,

I wonder if somebody could let me know the status of my submission of www.mountaindays.net in Regional: Europe: United Kingdom: Recreation and Sports: Sports: Mountain Sports ? I've been trying to get it accepted for over 3 months, if its been rejected then I'd really appreciate some feedback as well please

I notice from the category that it is asking for volunteers to edit it, does this mean that there isn't currently an editor and if so how will that affect my request?

I'd be interested in volunteering as an editor in the UK mountaineering & climbing related categories but does the fact that I've got a submission outstanding in one of them stop me from doing this?

The ATTENTION - Forum Guidelines - READ BEFORE POSTING thread requires that you wait at least a month from your most recent submission before asking here. In your case, that isn't until January 15th. (Any earlier submissions will have been overwritten by subsequent ones.)

There are hundreds of editors that can work in that category if they feel like it - but we can't predict when that might happen.

UK/Mountain Sports is certainly a suitable category for a trainee and having a website awaiting review there doesn't preclude an application from you. I suggest that you read this FAQ and apply. Treat the process as seriously as you would a job application because that's what it is .

Apologies - my mistake! I did read the guidelines and my records said I'd posted my last request on the 5th Dec so I thought I was OK to post. Obviously a typo on my part - too much pre Xmas beer or something I'll wait until after the 15th and if my submision hasn't been approved I'll ask for an update in this thread.

Thanks also for the advice and encouragement on the being an editor. I'll definatley look into that later this week.

Your suggestion has been received and is awaiting review. We can't predict when that might be. If it hasn't been listed in 6 months, please ask again in this same thread.
