I think I submitted this site too many times newyorkstatemortgages.com because after waiting for several months it didn't show up. I just submitted it again yesterday I think. Can you tell me what the reason is that it wasn't listed? I tried to put it in the category: http://dmoz.org/Business/Financial_Services/Mortgages/Regional/United_States/New_York/ . Any help is appreciated.

Hrm, yes we can: A backlog of more than 30 sites combined with two facts:
a) Editing mortgage sites is absolutely boring since you dont get any new information after looking at two sites (so editors maybe will spend less time doing this)
b) As you know there are lots of spammers in your business, so editing those entries isn't quite an easy task...

Thank you for your reply. I know there are many lead only sites in the mortgage category but this actually is a real business with a physical location in Smithtown, NY. I will wait patiently and hope the editor gets to it soon <img src="/images/icons/crazy.gif" alt="" />

In that case, you could make an additional submission to Smithtown, NY. It won't affect your original submission, and may mean you get listed faster.
