and I wonder why it has not been included yet

Please let me know the status of http://www.oddsdna.com, submitted to

For Reference, the information submitted was:

Title = oddsDNA - Sport Betting Knowledge

Description = oddsDNA offer you an extensive sport database covering more than 23 sports in most countries worldwide. Make your selection and bet! You will get the 20 best odds for each match selected!

A submission of September 2nd is waiting for review in Games: Gambling: Sports: Chats and Forums.

is it possible to change the category to be

http://www.dmoz.org/Games/Gambling/Sports/

Maybe it would be quicker to be reviewed?

Never choose the category in the Open Directory by review time. A quick review doesn't help if the site doesn't fit the category and can't be listed there.

For example, the person who submitted the site to the Chats and Forums category maybe thought that it would be reviewed faster there. However at first glance I would say it is neither a chat nor a forum.

Thus I have moved your submission, as requested, to the parent category.

First, just to clarify: No site is guaranteed a listing in DMOZ. A volunteer editor must perform a detailed review for content and criteria compliance. Only after that review can a decision be made. The site will then either be listed, deleted, or moved to a more appropriate location for review based on the opinion of the reviewing editor.

To answer the second part of that question, due to the editors being volunteers it is impossible to predict when an editor will volunteer their time in any category. I suggest you read the FAQ which will answer your most common questions.

Since uzs980 gave you an update today, you can check back in this thread in 6 months (after August 25, 2005) and request another update.
