I've been trying to submit my website for almost the last year about every 2-3 months and haven't been successful and I'm wondering if someone can tell me why.

I've been submitting under .....safety equipment and haven't been succesful.

I just resubmitted again today and I'm hoping perhaps one of you can explain what I am doing wrong.

Thanks for your help!

I don't see a submission of that URL to that category, nor do I see a record of it being reviewed or moved. Please try once more and post immediately in this thread and we'll check on it.

Thanks.

I was wondering if someone could give me an update on my submission. The last time I submitted it was over 2 months ago and I have been trying for over a year now. Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong.

TIA

You might start by reading the prior posts.

">>> Please note that the time between submission status updates has now been increased to <<<
>>> SIX months. <<<"

Check your calendar, OK?

But what you're doing wrong is simple. You're not paying any attention to all the information you're given.

"The submission was received."

There isn't anything wrong with the submittal, then, is it?

The next thing that happens is, an editor reviews the submittal and may add it to the directory. That hadn't happened, and there's nothing you could do wrong about that, since you have nothing to do with it. It happens when it happens -- and when you've got 10,000 editors all doing whatever they think most important, you have no way of knowing what will happen first. So when the thing you're watching for DOESN'T happen on any particular day, it just says that an editor found something more important to do that day, that's all. Nothing "wrong" involved anywhere.

Not to cause any trouble but does that mean I have to wait another 6 month before I can ask again?

I do appreciate you letting me know that it is at least waiting.

Thanks!

Yes, posting here doesn't actually speed up the process--but it does allow you to know what has happened (or not happened) so far :)

You are more than welcome to come back and get an update after 6 months from your previous status request. And that would be on or after June 18th.

Thanks.

That is fine but I notice that in a few other threads people are being asked to come back after 1 month so I thought there might have been a change in policy.

Back to my cave........

It's one month for a initial status request after submission, and then six months for the next status request.
