A submission dated 20/Feb/2004 awaits review in that category. A newer submission has been removed as a duplicate.

Please do not resubmit. Thanks

We will give updates at most once a month - you are welcome to come back after May 14th to get an update.

Thanks.

Sorry, there's been no change in status: it's still awaiting review. If you don't see it listed sometime in the next six months, please feel free to return for a status update on or after 25 December.

please tell me the status of www.parkcityrealestateforsale.com. i submitted this in feb.2004. your web site says >>> Please note that the time between submission status updates has now been increased to <<<
>>> SIX months. <<<. It is going to be 8 months with 3 or 4 emails going back and forth. i would think it would be easier to review the web site than answer all these emails. i do not want to cause you to look at my web site unfavorably but whats up? i do not think it is fair to make me what till december to see if it is listed and if not listed wait another few months.
please give me more inf. than Sorry, there's been no change in status: it's still awaiting review. if you need more reviewers i would be happy to help.
thank you for your consideration.

It would be even easier not to do either. You're dealing with people who are driven by more subtle motivations...

>i do not think it is fair to make me what till december to see if it is listed

Oh, it wouldn't be. That's why we'll let you check yourself, any day you want, by looking at the category.

Checking on the submittal is a much less valuable and more expensive operation, which is why we don't support it at all at dmoz.org, and ration it in these forums.

That is exactly why the space between updates has been increased to six months. This gives the editors more time to review sites with less time spent checking the status of various sites. You received your last status on 6-25-04.
You are eligible for your next status check on Christmas Day. Maybe you will get an early Christmas present and it will be listed before then, if not you may return for your next status report at that time.

Sorry, I don't understand - your last update was on 31 December. You've already acknowledged the information on the gap needed between update requests. See you no earlier than 1 July please.

to a supervising editor, i think it is outrageous the answers to my emails, feb 20,2004 will be one year since submission. your last email to me say's wait until july2005. I realize that you have lots of listing to check but 1 1/2 years to review a listing. i should not be saying this for fear of you blackballing my listing but your editors are more interested in smart answers and little concern. i am a web master with many clients, at this stage odp gets an "f" for customer service and efficiency and a very unhappy customer who has nothing good to say about odp or its editors. at this stage you can choose not to list my site but i am taking this matter of discrimination up with odp corporate officials and other regulatory agency.YOU EDITORS ARE JUST NOT DOING YOUR JOB. I would apprieciate an answer by someone of authority. thank you

Had you thought of reading our submission guidelines? These are the ones which acknowledged you'd read and agreed during the submission process.

I'm afraid that it's the nature of this unpaid volunteer organisation that we can't predict when a website will be reviewed. Neither do we attempt to schedule the efforts of our editors. Some suggestions are reviewed very quickly. Others can take years.

As far as I can tell, you are not the victim of discrimination; it's just that nobody has felt like listing your website yet.

Our volunteers are hard pressed and those who additionally give freely of their own time to answer questions here don't really deserve the irate diatribe above. I do hope that you'll have the courtesy to reword it.
