Could someone please let me know why this site is still not listed after nearly 2 months. Is there something I have not done or done wrong?

Please take bobrat's advice and read the quidelines before posting. You resubmitted on 10-11-04. The guidelines state that you have to wait 30 days from the last time you submitted, not the first, or second, etc. You are eligible for a status check on 11-11-04, unless you resubmit again in the mean time.

That would be tomorrrow wouldn't it?

Your suggestion has been received and is awaiting review. We can't predict when that might be. If it hasn't been listed in 6 months, please ask again in this same thread.

I was wondering what I need to do now to get the website onto the dmoz listings.
Make the site the best you can for the users. If your site is primarily about transport in and out of the UK, it might be appropriate to submit to [cat]Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Recreation_and_Sports/Pets[/cat]. This could be the case whether or not it is listed in the category it is presently waiting in.

(Please note: If you submit to that category, and I'm wrong, I'm the one who will get in trouble -- not you.)

The submission will be treated entirely seperate. Neither listing will influence the other as they are highly unlikely to be reviewed by the same editor.

There is no need to submit any other URL's associated with this site/company (advisory note only).

For the sake of clarity, we've assumed that since you're expediting a listing for http://www.passportforpets.co.uk here, your other URLs should not be listed.

For more detail, please see http://dmoz.org/add.html .These are the guidelines which you agreed you'd read at submission time and they include this statement.
Do not submit mirror sites. Mirror sites are sites that contain identical content, but have altogether different URLs.

Your most recent status check was a day early on 10th November 2004. Please don't ask for another one until after 11th May.

You got a status request about the status for your site suggestion to http://dmoz.org/Recreation/Pets/Travel/Transportation/ on Nov 11, which makes you eligible for another status report on or after May 11 if you haven't seen the site listed by then. We ask all submitters to wait six months between repeat status requests.

There is no trace of you having suggested your site to http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Recreation_and_Sports/Pets ; feel free to do so, and to return to this thread in a month or more to ask about the status of that site suggestion. Thanks! {moz}

Could someone let me know why it takes 6 months before I can expect to see our website listed or can even ask for an update?
