It's ironic that you have in fact submitted your site already on January 1st ...

Anyway, it's still waiting for review in that category, along with a large number of other sites.

Back in mid-2004, we changed the secondary request time to 6 months. You may return on August 17.

I can't find it in our FAQs, but status reports here and reviews have very little to do with each other. The site may have already been listed (there's a 1-3 delay before it gets to the public servers, with search having a 2-9 day delay), or it may take years.
