How long?

Its been 2 months. How long should I wait, or should I resubmit after some time?

Please do not resubmit, it won't help, if anything it will slow down the review process and/or create extra work.

No, nothing else to do. And no, we don't know how long a wait it will be. Editors volunteer to work; they work on what they consider most important -- and they don't have to tell anyone what that is. (For the editors who do most of the work, it changes from day to day based on more or less random factors.)

It appears there is no editor of the category I submitted to about 6 months ago. Will the editor of a higher up category take care of this subcategory I submitted to? Is there anything else I can do (email the higher up editor?) to see if we can get listed?

Can someone help us?

1. Reviews can take in excess of two years. Many happen sooner, but there is no guarantee.

2. Our FAQ located here addresses the issue of named editors.

3. The only thing you can do is be patient and not request another status check before November 8.

It said to wait till November 8th to request another status check. I am requesting another status check. Can someone add us?
