I can't find it waiting there.

However I see that it is effectively part of:
http://www.infograph.com/ which is already listed twice - albeit in categories not related to project management software.

If you do resubmit please use: http://www.infograph.com/ and use the description to indicate that it is the projectdox software that is relevant to the category.

Kind Regards,

Andy

Forgive me if this is an ignorant question. You have this category for Project Management, we have a site that is specific to this market. Not sure why it would not get listed with projectdox.com. Infograph.com has half a dozen products related to viewing, publishing, and security software but only one relates to project management.

Best wishes,
Kevin

Basically the ODP lists sites.

A domain is not the same as a site. One site can be spread over multiple domains - for instance if I was a business webmaster I could buy a separate domain for each product my company makes or even (to take it to extremes) for every page of content on my site.

So generally we will list only the root url for a business.

From our guidelines:

http://dmoz.org/guidelines/spamming.html

One trick sites will use to try to get multiple listings in the directory is to submit their site (or similar versions of their site or sub-sections of their site - "Deep-Linking") under different registered domains.

Hope this helps,

There are other threads on this issue try a forum search for the string "spread content over multiple domains" to get takes from different editors on the issue.

Kind Regards,
Andy

Does that mean you will be listing infograph in the project management catagory and viewing catagory?

I won't be doing anything! This is a status check thread which has already exceeded its purpose :)

But yes, in cases where the hierarchical flow wouldn't allow a site to be listed in one category and cover all its products (because it has diverse products/services - at least diverse in terms of where they fit in the ODP ontology) editors can add additional topical listings.

We don't however like submitters to submit their sites to multiple topical categories. The additional listings generally arise because an editor is populating a new category, or adding sites to an existing category with few listings.

However - since I've already spent time looking at the site now - and it does seem that its existing topical listings don't reflect the project management element at all. Please feel free to submit it.

If you can try to explain what the package does in your description in about 1 sentence, without using hype and without using any words from the category name (e.g. project management software) that would be appreciated as it saves us time with reviews if someone who genuinely understands the packages explains what it does.
