status of www.roadjunky.com

Hi,
I posted here a few days but my request was bumped down the pages without a reply. I hope i'm not being too impatient by posting again.

The site is http://www.roadjunky.com and i submitted the site around 6 weeks ago to http://www.dmoz.org/Recreation/Travel/Guides_and_Directories/

Please use your original thread. You would not be out of line in bumping that thread (if you last suggested the site more than a month ago).

I don't understand

I'm afraid I don't understand how to bump the original thread. I thought the only option open was to post anew.
The site itself we submitted 6 weeks ago. Am I supposed to leave the status thread for a month also?
Sorry for the breach of etiquette, it's just not clear to me.

The manner in which you "bump" a thread is to simply return to the thread and post a reply. Easy if you've done it a zillion times, but if you've never done it, then it is far from intuitive.

So, having said all that, your plan of action whould be to abandon this thread 9you don't even need to acknowledge this post -- I won't be offended) and return to your old thread (click the link that arubin provided) and post a fresh request there.

If, by chance, that request slips beyond the first page when you open the thread, bump it again. Some requests are spectacularly unlucky in terms of getting an answer. Hope your isn't one of them.
