The site http://www.rubylane.com was in

http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Antiques_and_Collectibles/Varied_Merchandise/R/

for many years, then disappeared sometime late 2003. We asked why last year and early this year, but never heard back. We re-submitted the site to the above category.

I can see that an editor has noted that your site should be considered for listing.

It seems you were added in Sep 2002 and moved to be rereviewed in Dec 2003 since your site does not belong in that category. You are waiting in http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Hosting

Although there are "for sale" listings on that site, they are in fact just links to listings on specific stores, most of which have been allowed to have their own listing in ODP. Therefore your main URL is considerd to be a hosting service for the individual stores.

Unfortunately, all our competitors are listed in this category and none are listed in Computers. We were definitely listed in this Shopping category before because other web sites use this list to classify our site. Can we request to be moved back to the Shopping Category, or can we request the editor to take out all similar sites to ours out of this category?
