marvelous, thanks for your help

from reading some of the other threads on here, it would seem that it is possible to have the site listed under more than one category.
Is this the case? and if so how many?

thank you

There are a number of circumstances where a site might be listed under more than one category:

-- Many site get listed in a topical category and also in a regional category based upon where they are physically located (NOT where they market).
-- Sites that appear in more than one language (NOT machine translated, but full translations that a native-speaker would be comfortable with) are eligible for consideration in the World/ language-specific categories.
-- Editors, if they deem a site's content to be both broad and comprehensive, can grant additional listings. Invariably, sites whose owners ask for these additonal listings (something they are not supposed to do) are not worthy of them, and site owners who are granted these additional listings never expected them.
-- Some (rare) categories have special rules concernign additional listings.

FREE ADVICE: The only one of the above that you might be able to work upon is the Regional/ submission -- but you generally need a physical presence in that community. Start at the top of Regional/ and drill down to the locality where you have that physical presence. If your business is simply located there, submit to the Business_and_Economy subcat. if you have a retail outlet, submit to Business_and_Economy/Shopping (if it exists) or simply to Business_and_Economy.
