But it is not necessary: When your site is waiting for review, a resubmission to the same category would only overwrite the former submission.

Host submission - did it overwrite original?

Hi All,

My web host has a new feature that helps submit a site to multiple smaller listing pages. I didn't realize until afterwards that some of these sites use DMOZ and reference it as the way to get listed on their site. I fear I unwittingly resubmitted to DMOZ via this tool and now am either banned for spamming the submission tool or knocked down to the bottom of the list.

Did my original submission get overwritten by any new ones? Will this mean I am back to the bottom of the list? I am not locked out now, am I?

No, your submission hasn't been overwritten. It's still waiting there with the same date. And no, you are not locked out.

I am over the four month mark. Should I consider this a rejection or that you guys are simply swamped?
