It was reviewed and denied because there was no content--just the logo of your ISP. When I look at it just now, it says that the domain has been registered and to check back soon to view the site. You would need to submit after you build your site for it to be listed.

That's weird, it works for me now. It's a full site with several pages.

I just tried it again, and I too am seeing the actual website--it was only about an hour ago that I viewed what I would consider to be a coming soon type of sign. The editor who also saw nothing found those results in early January. I'm not sure what the deal is, but it looks like something must be wrong. If you have it up and working, you can resubmit...

Maybe the ISP is not reliable, I've had a few websites I've reviewed that seem to come and go from day to day. One day, I get a site not found, the next it's back, and so on.

BTW, I tried three different browsers, just in case that was the problem, and all worked.

This is very strange and not a little worrying. The site has been up and running successfully since Sept 2003. I would never have submitted to DMOZ if it hadn't been finished. The ISP is high quality and the reliability stats are great.

Thanks for your help. The hosting company mananged to not have spearconnect.co.uk supported, but www.spearconnect.co.uk was fine! It's fixed now, but I guess it puts my submission back 4 months.

I've resubmitted - can you tell me the status?

My company address is 22 Plewlands Gardens, Edinburgh, EH10 5JP. I do have a license to use Spear resources in Cardiff, but we are a totally seperate company doing our own things.

Editors will review sites based only on what appears on the site. Many of them do not read this forum.

So it is important that if you want them to see an address, it be included on the site.

Hope this makes sense.
