The site was removed after 3 weeks when checked again. The usual reasons do apply in this case 'Do not submit under construction sites' - "Our site is currently under construction, but you can view two of our latest articles". Also the rather more generic lack of unique content.

I can't tell looking today, but it appears you have been adding content, hopefully unique content. It's going to have to be really good to overcome our aversion to lodging affiliate booking schemes in a shiney wrapper.

At the moment I wouldn't relist it, but re-suggest the site when it is complete and has the unique content readily available.

I know it seems like a chicken and egg type thing, but we won't list a partial site, nor an undeveloped site (think more traffic in the forums), nor will we list what is not yet there (coming soon, under construction, etc).

On a personal note the comments presented don't appear to match your mission statement just yet "We'll be reviewing and rating the hotels, condos, rental properties, restaurants, clubs, Spring Break parties, RV parks, events" and "Where to Stay
Unbiased reports on the best condos and hotels to stay at depending on your budget"
I'd have expected more than
"One of the most popular hotels on SPI. Also one of the first. Northern portion of Island. Good, quiet location on the beach with perhaps the best courtyard/pool on the island. "
and thats probably the longest 'review'.
Also it's a bit surprising they are all bookable through an affiliate site if the selections are truly "unbiased" - is there the potential bias that they must be bookable to be selected?

The restaurants section gives a rating of 'cheap', 'moderate', or 'high', but theres no key - for my friend cheap would be $50 - $100 per person, for me under $20, I know people who think a $4.95 pizza is an expensive meal, so some idea of the scales would be good. (maybe use mains: $18 - $25, as obviously thats the major part of a meal out, entrees, desserts, drinks will all add from that, but it's usually a good indicator)

One final point if I may, on the 4 wheel driving page, the tower format of the menu on the right does not work particularly well with the adsense display in the same color above it. It looks like the 'Ads by Google' is part of the menu, so my first instinct was to not read it.

I'm not degrading the site, I think its a genuine site with potential, just trying to point out some of the potential traps/problems.

gimmster,
Your response is actually worth more than getting the site listed (at the moment). Thanks so much!

See folks, you can get something out of it other than site submission status updates.....

Gimmster, if you're reviewing that category in the future, look for a resubmission in the future:)

Thanks and take care.
