I was wondering if any of the editors could please check on the status of www.stockmarketinvestinginfo.com which I think I placed in the category: http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Investing/Guides/

If the site is not in this category, then I might have made a mistake, because this category is probably the best fit.

The submission is not waiting in the category you mentioned. This means you either submitted to a different category or something went wrong with the submission process. Either way, if you feel the category is the best fit for your site then you should resubmit.

Also - it appears that you probably have submitted multiple times to different areas of the directory. Example, a duplicate submission of yours was deleted recently from http://dmoz.org/Business/Investing/Stocks_and_Bonds/Investment_Research - which means you probably have a submission still waiting somewhere in the directory. If you do submit again you probably should make a note at the end of your suggested description in brackets to the effect of

[accidently submitted numerous times, please leave this submission for review]

and that should alert any power editors using power tools to delete duplicate submissions to not delete the one in the best category you have chosen. After you submit the last time, please refrain from additionally submitting your site to other parts of the directory as this just makes more work for us. Thanks.

Note that the forum rules say "wait six months" (not "wait until your site has been visited") before making another status request. That would be November 25.
