Status of www.trendybabies.com?

Hope I'm not over-stepping boundries by posting. I'm pretty new at all of this. I submitted on 10/21 and being that my category isn't all that popular, was wondering about how long to wait? Or will I get an email? Can someone possible check real quick on the status?

I'm a little nervous, as I think I might have accidentally submitted 2x. Trying to keep track of submission, which place, which page, date, etc. is making me feel like I can't even think straight! <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

Submitted on the 10/21? I didn't even know we had 21 months! Oh, you use the 'Merican format for dates... Hmm. 21st of Oct was only 8 days ago, so it is still extremely early to ask for a status report.

Anywhere from 5 minutes to infinity. All editors are volunteers and hence can only dedicate set amounts of spare time to editing. However, I can tell you that you did submit twice (I have now removed the deeplink to the entry form) and that there are around two dozen other sites awaiting review in that category.

Probably not. There is no automated system for sending out emails (as we get a large number of 'faked' email address), and editors are normally inclined not to contact submitters directly - you'll be surprised at how angry some submitters get when they are informed that their affiliate-laden under-construction multiple-submitted-deeplink site has been rejected.

Oh, plus the fact you didn't leave an email address with your submission does make it a little bit harder <img src="/images/icons/grin.gif" alt="" />

Eeek - 2 dozen sites waiting! That scares me because the category has no editor. Doesn't sound very promising as to being reviewed any time soon....lol

2 dozen sites is nothing. There are categories with hundreds of sites waiting.

And just because the category says it has no editor doesn't mean that others editors aren't in there working. Dozens of editors would have access to that category. <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

I submitted my site to the following category.
Home/Family/Babies/Photo Contests

I posted a status question the other day and I was told that it was in que, along with about 20 other sites <img src="/images/icons/frown.gif" alt="" /> . I have a couple more questions though. My category hasn't been updated since Monday, October 7th. I realize there is not an editor, so I went up a category Home/Family/Babies to check and see if that one has an editor. No editor there either, but it was updated yesterday by someone. I went one more level up, Home/Family , and whew, an editor exists! However, that category hasn't been updated since September 10! My whole purpose of finding a related editor was to politely email and ask if they could do a quick review.

I do realize that it hasn't been very long since I submitted, but compared to top notch categories, I figured it wouldn't be too long. However, after seeing the last updated date for my specific category, I'm getting more and more nervous that it will take forever. I'd apply to be an editor myself, but between getting this site going and raising three kids (ages 2, 6, and 8), I'd be kidding myself thinking I had the time, I barely have enough time to go potty...lol. Any suggestions, other than please be patient?...lol <img src="/images/icons/grin.gif" alt="" />

Please don't penalize me for impatience, it's a major flaw of mine, just ask my kids! <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />
