This is my third submission in a year or more. Should I be submitting to a different category instead?

If the intent of your website is to sell your music, you might want to consider submitting the site here:

or here:

http://dmoz.org/Business/Arts_and_Entertainment/Music/Labels/

The Kids and Teens directory is meant to be as commercial free as possible. Your site could still be listed though as long as the focus is more on music and not on sales.
