This was submitted by a optimization service, so if this request is redundant please accept my apologies. I will tell them to stop posting to this forum on my behalf.

Also, the instructions state that I should not start a new thread in the appropriate category (shopping) since I have already started a thread in the main category.

There have been multiple submissions of this url. Duplicates have been removed. It is not waiting in that category, but a copy apparently waits somewhere within Shopping/Music and its subcats.

I apologize for the duplicates. I was employing an optimization service and they apparently submitted it more than once. I have told them that I must be the only one communicating with you.

Does DMOZ review the site to determine the optimal category?

I believe the most appropriate category is

It is waiting in Shopping/Music/Instruments/Stringed/Guitar/Classical.
We have no idea when a volunteer editor will review your site. It could be in two hours. It could be in two decades. Giving a mean, or average, time from submission to review is not possible. Doing so would imply that processing submissions is the only way to build a category of unique content. This is not true. We also seek out new sites on our own as well.

Yes. It is part of the editing process.
