Status of www.yogasuperstore.com

I added my url: www.yogasuperstore.com around January 10, 2003.

I attempted to add it to http://dmoz.org/Society/Religion_and_Spirituality/Yoga/Shopping/

Can you please tell me its status?

You're waiting for review along with a couple of dozen other sites (no, I don't know how much longer it will be before you're reviewed -- you're not the newest site but you're not the oldest, either).

We ask people to wait *at least* one month between requests, so that we don't get completely swaped with requests.

Hello again, It is now June 17th, I originally sent my request to DMOZ around January 10th of this year. I have waited over 30 days since my last request for status. I have been patient and followed the rules. Is there anything I can do to facilitate getting my site listed in DMOZ? I am a legitimate site doing an honest business. If there is no editor for the cartegory can I get listed in the next higher category that has an editor? TIA, Rob

To answer your specific questions:

No there is not. All submitted sites are equal, in the eyes of the editors, and get processed in whatever order the editor wishes.

No. There are several reasons why this isn't a good idea:
First, if the category above the one has an editor, then they can also edit that sub-category, so that doesn't help you.
Second, the site will get listed in the ONE category where it belongs, which means it won't get listed in the level above it.
Third, if you submit to the level above it, then it will probably get moved down to the original subcategory anyway, and may actually end up delaying the time-to-list.

I'm sure these aren't the answers that you were hoping to hear, but this is the way that the ODP works, for good reason.
