At least a month ago, I submitted INCspot!, my personal homepage and online resume, to http://dmoz.org/Society/People/Personal_Homepages/. I'm just checking on the status of it. If someone could get back to me on this, I'd really appreciate.

Also, once the homepage is submitted, will I need to indivisually submit the other pages on it, since those other pages don't show up in web searches?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, none what-so-ever. There are so many factors, you could wait a few days to months, and months and months, and ..... you get the idea.

You can bookmark this thread and reuse it again after 30 days, but I would recommend a couple of months or more.

The submission is still waiting for review. I am sorry but we can make no estimates on the amount of time it will take to get a review in this forum.

Sorry to nag, but anything new yet?

Also, I asked this at the beginning of this thread, but nobody ever answered me. :( Just to clarify, once the homepage of my website is submitted, will I need to indivisually submit the other pages on it, or will all of the pages on the site be added automatically? Also, I'll be adding more pages to the website, so will those automatically turn up in searches too? (I have a lot of stuff on my website to cater to lots of different interests, and there's still much more I want to add.)

If somebody could please clear this up for me, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

No!

Please do not submit the additional pages. This is called deep linking and if an editor deeps deep links to be appropraite, then the editor will undertake the appropraite deep linking.

DMOZ/ODP is about sites, not pages.

Okay, okay! I was just asking! You don't need to get huffy!

(And if you weren't being huffy, I apologize, but it's hard to tell on an MB sometimes. The ! at the end of "No!" had me thinking you were being huffy)

No problem, though most people who see my sig can imagine what it is like when I am really being huffy (as opposed to emphatic).

Well, glad that's all cleared up. And like I said, it's hard to tell on a message board. Glad there's no hard feelings.
