Can you help me with the status of my site submission that was submitted proabably about 3 months ago. www.lowbudgetdesigns.net

I am not sure what catagory it was submitted under either but I want to say it was http://dmoz.org/computers

It is not possible to submit to that category.

If you truly can't remember where you submitted your site, I suggest you determine the single best category for it and resubmit...
