Hi Editors,

My website are in http://www.dmoz.org/Society/Relationships/Dating/Advice for 1-2 years but Nov 2004, it was dropped from this directory.

So, I resubmitted in Dec and still waiting for review.

May I know why it was deleted ?

It was deleted because it is not listable.

Thanks for letting me know. I read the FAQ and not going to argue with the editors.

I bought the site from previous owner last mth and would like to know why and how i can improve it so that it can be included into Dmoz again. Paid him only 50% of the agreed amount and if cannot work out, i will not pay the rest.

Is it due to Adsense ? If yes, I can drop them. The content all are original and not seen else where. Appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

I'm sorry to say this, but there are a number of people [or maybe only one using fake names] they have hundreds if not thousands of web sites all about dating tips, it's the same thing all over again each time. When you buy one of those sites - you buy the lack of uniqueness associated with it.

Without naming names - my guess it your seller is either D.K. or C.X. or D.D.

yeah, and not only that, the information, it doesn't work, I tried it this evening but my wife caught me, slapped me and stormed off with the car keys, and the girl I tried it on just laughed. And it was raining...

If it is not against the domain name, I am not so worry.
I take down all the contents and recreate useful articles.
Then, I will try my luck resubmit. Thanks for all your input.

Need to go after the seller for this type of sale.

If you do that -- makea 100% replacement of the content, make sure that you indicate new domain ownership and new content (within the description area) and the site will get a very careful inspection.
