My apologies for forgetting to include the category I had applied for in my original post.

I had applied for:

http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Domain_Names/For_Sale_or_Auction/Auctions/

category, the editor name I had used was: SlashRoot

I'm not seeing any applications for that category. I have to assume that your application was rejected, though we don't keep a record of rejected applications.

As I say, I don't know why the app was rejected, but you might want to think about a different area of the directory. I see that there is an editor one level up from that category, so that sub-category is pretty well covered.

Before applying again, make sure that you read through the FAQ and General Advice thread in this forum.

I had tried submitting my application (twice) over four weeks ago, but have not received a confirmation email thus far. Could it be that it may not have made it to the queue?
