Sir, can you tell me that how can i search for specific domain in DMOZ? for example we can search in google as site:, or link:, or +: etc...

Please help.

If you feel that the category you named is the best category for the site then yes, please resubmit.

but what about the status of prior submission

dear sir,
as i had forgotten the category of prior submission, what will happen for it. How could i know that my site is submitted anywhere or not or what is the status of it where i had submitted before?

or tell me the method to find a url in DOMZ, that how can i search for a particular url in DOMZ

OK, now that we are in the right thread (thank you), I can explain that there is really no way to tell. The way we build our directory, using all volunteer labor, is that editrs edit where and when they want (within certain constraints) and so long as they are editing, we are happy. Even within a given category, there is no "correct order" that an editor needs to follow when procesing submissions. Some do it by submission date, some do it by title, some do it by URL and some just do it with no apparent methodology that we can deduce.

As a result, waiting time ranges from a few hours (for the very very lucky, with whom you should invite on your next trip to Vegas), to more than two years, for the chronically unlucky.

But you now know your site is in teh submission pool, and that there is little else for you to do but wait patiently (after permanently bookmarking this thread).

You were given a status update on April 28. Therefore, you're eligible for another status update 6 months from that date (i.e. after October 28) -- you're a month early.
