Hi, I have submitted the site www.threebutterflies.com to http://dir.yahoo.com/Business_and_Economy/Shopping_and_Services/Personal_Care/Retailers/ and was hoping to find the status on this. Any feedback is appreciated.

This is the ODP. We supply directory information to Google and AOL, among others, but not to Yahoo. We have absolutely no information, and no way of getting any, on Yahoo submittals.

boy do I feel dumb. I know that, of course, I just copied the wrong link from my files. That's what I get for working faster than my brain!

Ah. That we can do. The site is waiting for review, and there are only a few thousand other sites waiting for review in the various subcategories of Shopping/Health/Beauty. Expect a long wait: i'd bet your Yahoo! listing will get in first.

Yep, Yahoo listing has been approved and growing moldy! Any movement here? Does this category have active editors or just once-a-monthers?

Yeah, Yahoo lists those kinds of sites faster because people are paying them for it. The type of category you are submitting to is not exactly the most fun to work in you know - or the most popular for editors.

It might be quite a while my friend - at least you know early on in the game.
