It's been a few months now, and my site is still not in the directory. Has it been refused? Is there anything I can do to help facilitate this?

There is nothing really you can do. Keep your site up, always look to improve it - but you should be doing that anyway.

(I should point out that you are supposed to wait six months before posting again)
