Hi

I've submitted www.colours.ltd.uk to this part of the directory

Regional > Europe > United Kingdom > England > Surrey > Farnham

a number of times, but I'm assuming I keep being rejected for being in the wrong part, but there is no subdirectory for shops or shopping.

Can you advise of the status and whether there is an appropriate category here for a website for a shop?

Your assumptions are ALL wrong:

(1) submitting after a reject is not the thing to do; it's just spam spam spam spam!
(2) we do not reject sites because there is no subcategory for them yet, we just list them in the main category
(3) there is no rational basis whatsoever for believing the site has been reviewed yet. There are no fixed schedules for review.

Make the ODP category clickable, and someone will check the facts for you.

Thanks for putting me straight.

The last time I asked in the forum I was told that the site had been reviewed but I had submitted to the wrong category and would have to re-submit, so I re-submitted to what I thought was the right one.

It was in one of the subdirectories of the Farnham category.

Perhaps if one of the kind editors who deal with the farnham are could tell me which would be the correct category, or they could add a shopping category to the Farnham area.

I can't see it anywhere in the unreviewed pile of any of the subcategories of Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/England/Surrey/Farnham , though it has previously been rejected there for being 'under contruction'...

If that's changed perhaps you should resubmit. In the absence of a 'Shopping' category for a given locality, sites which would otherwise belong there are simply listed one level higher in 'Business and Economy'.
