I see no change in status in your suggestion. Sorry not to have better news.

You may ask again in this thread in 6 months.

May I suggest that you drop the drive-by download attempt? It's possible that an editor might reject a site for that reason alone.

This would be really hard on us,we have already waited for about 8 months and 6 more months....

It would be great if some one of you , Editor responsible for the category concerned kindly analyse and review our website early.

In the end sorry if this query is out of order....Are we the only who have been asked to wait for 1 year or you guys give same time frame for waiting to every website submitted?

It's not atypical. Reviews can be +/- 5 years from submission (that's 5 years before submission to 5 years after submission). As DMOZ has only been around for 5 years or so, you can't expect a much wider range....

It is no hardship at all NOT to post in this forum for six months.

As for when a site will be reviewed, it's best to think of that process as purely random. It's very close. And, in order to keep these forums at all useful for their intended purpose, we have to make sure everyone knows there is no connection between forum posts and site reviews....which means we have to make sure it's true.
