wow thats amazing, seems like most people get answers, in just a few days. Harshness, do you have any clue why that is.
The harshness you refer to:
It is understandable that some are disappointed to hear their site has been rejected and the reasons for rejection are not always easy to work out.
It also isn't easy to be patient for a period of up to 2 years or more, waiting for a site to be reviewed. But not all who post here realise that a dmoz listing is not provided as a service to webmasters, but as a service to web users, any value to a site owner is a bonus. ODP is also completely run by volunteers.
If the editors sometimes seem a little short, just browse down just a page of threads in this part of the forum - how many have followed the guidelines in their initial request for a status report?
You followed the guidelines in your first post, you have had kindly replies. (I have met with nothing but helpful answers here too)
