Hi

I had a site listed in Dmoz for the past 12 months and suddenly its dissappeared. On checking the guidelines it seems to certainly meet so I would appreciate some feedback if possible.

in the category of http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/Clothing/Lingerie

I did however resubmit a few weeks ago but have recently found this useful forum so thought i would ask why it was removed in first instance

Apparently it was removed pending review for listing in an Adult category.

This may well have been an innocent expansion of an existing business, but ... it conforms to a "bait and switch" technique common among porn peddlers, so we tend to get very cautious.

You're welcome to try to short-circuit intermediate steps by reviewing the Adult/Shopping categories and submitting where you think the site is likely to end up.

It was unreviewed since it contains content that requires it be listed in the Adult section of ODP. At some point an editor will probably move it to be reviewed there.

Ah - good point - yes the site was expanded to earlier this year to sell toys. This was an innocent change has i am sure you can tell from the sites main focus.
