Hello,

As per the forum guidelines, can you please provide a clickable link the ODP category where you suggested this site?

We ask submitters to wait AT LEAST ONE MONTH between making a submission and enquiring about it here. Thanks.

Sorry.

I have since found out that the SEO company i use have submitted to DMOZ recently. I do apologise to all concerned with this post!!!

I think the site was submitted on March 6th so i have a few weeks before it will be considered for inclusion so once again, apologies to all..

It is impossible to say/guess given the voluntary nature of the directory and it's editors. It may be today, next month, next year or even longer.

Sorry that we cannot be more specific.

Satatus please

Hi again editors.

Just want to bring this one back online as its been over a month since my last request.

Could anyone tell me the status of http://www.totalbids.co.uk for inclusion in
http://www.dmoz.org/Shopping/Auctions/

If this has been rejected then i would like to know so i can submit again. I originally submitted in January but have been told i should submit once every 3 months until included but looking at all the posts etc i think ODP class this as "Spamming"?

Could an editor please clarify this as i do not want my site blacklisted because of this.

Many thanks

Jason

No. If your site is rejected, continuing to submit is spam, and will be dealt with accordingly. You know your site was waiting to be reviewed. Continuing to submit is spam, and will be dealt with accordingly.

Do not resubmit. Ever.

Ok. So if it does get rejected how do i ever get in the directory if i cant re-submit? Excuse my ignorance in this one, but that does seem rather strange.

Thanks in advance

There are only two classes that rejected sites fall into: rightfully rejected and wrongfully rejected. If a site is wrongfully rejected when you ask for a status update, we will tell you to resubmit. Or in most cases, we will put it back in the unreviewed pile for you. If a site is rightfully rejected, there is almost nothing you can do to turn your website into something we wish to list. We want to list sites with unique content. If your site doesn't have it, then we won't list it, and no amount of resubmitting will help you.
