Hello I submitted www.gumtree.ie on 31st March 2004 to:
http://directory.google.com/Top/Regional/Europe/Ireland/Dublin/Business_and_Economy/Property/

Could I check the status please.

What is the relationship between this and the two other sites you have asked about: http://www.gumtree.com and http://gumtree.com?

www.gumtree.com and www.thegumtree.com are the London, UK community site.
www.gumtree.ie is the Irish version. There is no content shared between www.gumtree.ie and any other URL. It is a standalone Irish site.

To make this complete, there is also http://thegumtree.ie/

And the category you specify is in Google, please supply an ODP category, since we are not Google.

thegumtree.ie is just a catch all and not looking to be listed. Only www.gumtree.ie which is a stanalone Irish site with only Irish content. The content does not appear anywhere else.

That a web site has been spread over multiple domain names does not make it eligible for multiple listings.

The website has not been spread over different URLs. We have www.gumtree.ie which is our site for Irish classified advertising and we have sites in other countries which have totally different content relevant to their areas only. You will find Irish adverts only on gumtree.ie and ads for London, UK only on www.gumtree.com
Much in the same way that say Google.co.uk offers UK content and Google.ie offers Irish content. There is no sharing of content. These are local sites for local adverts only.
