hello,

we have been in dmoz.org for over 2 years now,
but I cannot find it no more in the directory
the site is:

http:// www.oddworld.be (english version of the site)

It used to be submitted to the english structure of dmoz.

6 months ago We submitted http://www.oddworld.be/nl/ , because we made the site available in dutch, so we submitted this in the belgium dutch part.

NOW neither one is found.

What is going on?

changing

Thx,

Question what do I do if I want to move the link from:
http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Belgium/Business_and_Economy/

to a more appropriate category:

http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Belgium/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/

and also change it's listing name and description?

It should be changed to:

title: It Came From Odd World

description: Internet's largest seller of action figures, dolls, comics, extreme dvd's, Disney and other cartoon movie and music products.
You can also visit our shop at Aarschot - Belgium. Always Welcome!

Like I said the previous submission dated more then 2 years ago!

thx

http://search.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/search?search="odd+world"

(if search is available)

But that shows something too...

What are results 3 and 4? And you've also tried http://www.odd-world.co.uk/ which is a mirror.

What is going on?
Indeed!

That isn't to say http://www.oddworld.be/nl/ would be automatically denied even with the web design part of the site listed, an editor might consider them separate sites...

So provide us with a clickable link to the category you submitted to, someone will look, and if it isn't there you can resubmit, wait a month, and come back to this thread to see if it has been received.

As I looked at it I thought it was in the wrong category and with the wrong title so I was actually in the process of changing both - it will take a few days/weeks to show up.

change it's ... description
We don't list advertisements. The description is fine, suggesting a new one along the lines you just mentioned will be an instant reject.

thx for the quick respons,

I am sorry Oneeye, I am confused now. Is Odd world (www.oddworld.be) going to move to the new category with the new title, but the old description or what?

Thank you once again for your patience,

I think you guys are doing a great job out there building and maintaining the biggest directory out there!

I changed the title, I left the description as it is OK, I moved the site to the Shopping category. Editors can see the changes immediately but they can take time to get to the public servers. It might be minutes, hours, or days. Maybe weeks, I don't know. But the change has been made, don't worry about it!
