I think 2 weeks ago. Some people critisize things that look off topic or unnecessary, but this is one of the best free services, and may stay that way for a long time; and off topic loooking content may be removed anytime. Actual content is search results & user interface, which is perfect in our opinion.
Site launched 2 weeks ago and already has alexa rank of 100k, has about 40 true ads. Students will get free service forever (hope). Less paper will be wasted on roommate wanted or sublease ads. Cleaner walls, buss stops, cities..

If you can't remember the exact date, you might as well start counting today -- come back to this thread no sooner than 1 month from today and we'd be happy to check on the status of your suggestion.
Not likely to be enough content to make it listable in the directory at this point in time.
Ok, it has been more than one month. Site was improved a little bit more. Number of ads passed 100 (all real except 3 obvious ones), and growing exponentially. We'd like to know submission status (submitted 1.5 month ago). We submitted the home page, but search page looks better. Site is currently free and there are no annoying scripts, tricks, hassles. It is very easy to create an ad. I invite you to take 2 minutes to create an ad as explained on home page, and block or delete after it is done. User interface is as clean as possible. We will add more pages and move some content elsewhere. We had to add sentences with keywords which are completely harmless (and in fact saying our site is suitable for that kind of audience), to keep site look more on topic to search engines. Still people who want to critisize the site refer to sentences which are not necessary.
In any case it is an extremely good site which is fast, clean, good looking, easy to use, free of distractions popups scripts, currently free, nicer to low income people and students, likely to benefit environment; and most importnatly better than vast majority of pages in dmoz.
Looking forward to hearing its status.

I just looked at the site. It will be difficult for an editor to discover just how many ads you have when the only means of looking at the database is by a specific search. None of the data entry boxes have an 'any' or 'don't care' option so I can't look for all properties in Florida for example.
When I tried an undefined search, it complained but gave me around 20 properties. It wasn't clear if that was all of them (which is at odds with your claim of 100+) or just the first page of several. If the latter, I couldn't find a way of getting to the next page.
I have to say that I found it a frustrating experience. If I was reviewing it for real, I'd decline it.

We show matching ads first, and show nonmatching ads next. If there are less than 20 matching ads we complete total number to 20.
Inactive ads are not displayed in search results. People just forget activating, although it is clear from instructions on home page. People enter the coupon to get a free ad. If there is no 100 % discount coupon, people have to pay to activate. All explained on home page.
Too see all ads: make ads per page 1000, and all ads will be displayed for blank search.
We don't show all ads from Florida. Surfer either chooses city+state, or zip+distance. All these explained on home page. Yahoo has the same system for location data. It is quite standard.
If you search for Chicago Illinois, you will see 3 active ads from that city.. There are more ads from Chicago but they are not activated or expired and not reactivated. Completely logical and we give all info surfers and users need.
