and it has been over three months with my two flag ship web sites. I heard somewhere that if after a certain amount of time your site is yet to be looked at by the Cat Editor that I can request another editor to review my site.

was this a beautiful dream or is it reality?

Editors can not be requested to do something. You can ask in the Submission Status forum if your submission is still waiting, but there is no way to make someone look into a submission with priority.

Any editor with access to the category may or may not find the time to review some entries, but that is something you cant take any influence.
