Strange behavior...

yesterday, i did a search for vera bradley, and found there were 2 sites listed (i can't remember what they were). I submitted a client's site that also sells vera bradley. I came back today, entered vera bradley in the search box, and now it says it can't find ANY sites matching that in the directory.

same thing with plone development. there was 1 listing yesterday, but today it can't find anything.

am i missing something?

There is a problem with the ODP search. It should be fixed by Saturday.

.....well, this doesn't necessarily make THAT true, but it helps

I believe that there has been some weird things happening with the search facility recently - one of them bugs!! The hamsters have now been fed and watered and all being well it should be looking better over the weekend [fingers crossed]

Note that in general, the ODP search function should be used to find categories and then you should browse through the category -- rather than using the search to find individual sites.
