Strange problem

We are the developers of an ERP for the process manufacturing industry.

I had suggested our website (let's call it www.XXXXXX.com) for addition in the Top: Computers: Software: Manufacturing: Process category some 6 months back (immediately after the site submissions came back up). The problem is that a manufacturing equipment manufacturer is listed in with exactly the same page title XXXXXX in the Business: Food and Related Products: Tools and Equipment category. This might be resulting in the editor to think that we are already listed.

I can send specifics to any editor who would be kind enough to explore this and let me know if this is the problem that prevents us from being listed.

I'm sorry but that's not a service we provide here. If you have concerns that your company might be mistaken for another company, you could always resuggest your site with a little added note explaining that in square brackets at the end of the description. That way you can be sure that the editor reviewing the site knows what you want them to know.

The thing is that if your url is www.xxx.com and your company is Acme tool and Die, there is little or no change we are going to confuse it with www.yyy.com Acme Tool & Die.

Certainly we might notice the similarity, and if we do we would certainly investigate, but as a rule we are smart enough to not be confused by similar or identical site titles.

but, then again, we all have bad days. :D:D
