Submission Help

I submitted a site to 2 or 3 categories a little over a month ago, but havent heard anything good or bad about the submission status for any of them. How long should the process take? Two of the categories do not have an editor listed, and the other category I submitted to has an editor, but when I fill out the contact form, I get a proxy error on submission.

That's a bit excessive, since the guidelines say "select the one most appropriate category". But the editors will clean up the mess. (And, by spamming standards, that's a fairly small mess.)

You won't. (There's nothing more you need to do, and no information that you would need in order to not do anything.)

The process of suggesting a site takes--well, you know. The process of reviewing it takes a few to maybe twenty minutes. There's no process in between--for that suggestion, it's like the universe stops until it's needed.

But EVERYTHING is asynchronous. The site might have been reviewed before it was ever suggested -- that certainly happens quite often. Or it might be suggested before it was ever reviewed -- that also happens quite often. Work can be done in any order, whatever order is most effective for the person who's actually doing the work.
