It wasn't there, and no sign of deletion or move, so since I was there I added it to be reviewed. It's waiting there now.

Thank you djdeeds. Don't know what happened but I'm sure I completed the process.

Just thought, do I need to submit any information, like site description, site name, my email address, etc. for the process to be completed?

Thanks

Any news on the review of this site? I'd really like for people to have greater access to this site as it is the most comprehensive one on Stevie Wonder that is out there. And Its a shame that people searching will not find it.

The first DMOZ listing under this category: http://www.warr.org/stevie.html says its the best Stevie web site out there.

A news article today lists it as the best also http://www.pressconnects.com/entertainment/stories/061004s96158.shtml

I originally submitted this in February, it seems to have been lost, I inquired 2 months ago, and was told it was put on the waiting list.

I appreciate the volume of submissions you get on a daily basis, and the limited resources you operate under. But I was just wondering if any thing can be done to expedite its review and acceptance.

Thank you very much for any assistance.

Check again the category. Your site is listed.

Miro, thanks for pointing that out. However I did not find it because when I do a search for 'Stevie Wonder' on the DMOZ search page, I get 18 results but mine site is not included among the 18.

Could anyone suggest a reason why that might be?

Thanks.

It doesn't matter whether your site is found in the search. Anybody can see that most S-W sites are in a particular category -- they can look at that category and see ALL the sites. And that's what the directory is designed to do -- show them ALL the sites.

Search function isn't updated as often as some categories are updated.
See http://dmoz.org/Arts/Music/Bands_and_Artists/W/Wonder,_Stevie/

Hi,
If I visit this category, my site is not listed.

If I do a search from the dmoz.org home page I get 18 links listed but none are my site.

I was just wondering what I need to do to get my site listed and found. Any help would be much appreciated. I have been trying to get my site recognised now for a long time, waiting patiently and not seeming to get anywhere.

Many thanks

Not displayed in search: See the date displayed below the search results. Search has not updated for quite some time.

Not displayed in category: Please see http://resource-zone.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=29051

I am still not seeing my site (www.steviewonder.org.uk) listed in the search results.

When I do a search I get the following:

Open Directory Sites (1-19 of 19) and 19 sites are listed, none of which are mine.

However if I were to go to the Arts: Music: Bands and Artists: W: Wonder, Stevie category My site is listed as 1 out of the 10 that are there.

Can anyone tell me what I may need to do to get my site found in the search?

Most of the other sites found are not even dedicated Stevie Wonder websites, but just sub-pages of News/Articles/Sales sites.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The DMOZ search is not particularly reliable. We know, but it's not considered a high priority. On the other hand, wouldn't someone looking for your site use the directory, rather than the search.
