Hi,

I have over the past 2-3 months submitted my site to a regional travel category under Cape Town South Africa. I submitted the site 4 times during this period(Today was the fourth time after I was unable to contact a category editor for assistance) The site complies with the DMOZ guidelines.

I do not want to be guilty of spamming and tried to contact a category editor higher up but the online form for contacting an editor is giving a cgi error on submit. My problem is that there seems to be no editor for my category. At the bottom is a link "Volunteer to edit this category", and I am worried/led to beleive that my site is not included due to competitive site category editors. (There are very few sites in this category as it is very niche and town specific)

Who can I contact for help/assistance as the online form for contacting an editor is giving an error.

Thank you
Ryan

Our suggestion guidelines, which you've acknowledged you have read and agreed on at least 4 occasions, tell you not to do this.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

There's generally no need to contact a specific editor. Despite the error reports, messages usually get through. However, editors are encouraged to ignore 'squeaky wheels' and not to respond.

Thank you

Thank you for the feedback. My intention was not to resubmit, but due to the fact that I was under the impression that there was no editor for the category 'Volunteer to edit this category' and my inability to contact an editor higher up, I did. Apologies
